《怪兽大学》英文观后感



Today I watched a movie called Monsters’ University. I think it is worth watching and rethinking.



In this movie we find friendship, sincerely, choice, and fearless. Fearless which is the most important character embedded deeply in the role’s heart.

Sullivan, used to be a bad guy before met Wazowski, but he still owns a kind heart and is loyal to his friends. I was moved when he got the information that the doctor decided not to allow Wazowski staying in the university. He damaged the simulation device before Wazowski’s stage. He was trying his best to help his friend to win the game and reached his goal. Basically, Sullivan did many for Wazowski but Wazowski just wanted to prove that he made it all relyed on his efforts not using the cheated way. Hence, Wazowski was heart-broken and Sullivan felt wronged.


Wazowski actually is a very aggressive monster but his appearance is so cute so that nobody thinks he is scary. However, he is willing to become a scary one and put a lot of effort to study and has got good scores on every subject. But theory is just theory, when coming into practice he loses. After he knows Sullivan cheated him, he was so angry and frustrated and he made a crucial decision that he rushed into the laboratory to demonstrate he is scary but when he came into the room, every child didn’t feel scary but thought he was adorable. Just then every monster knew Wazowski was in danger. But nobody went to hep him except for Sullivan. He bursted in to the room to find his friend but he exposed himself. When he escaped to a river, Wazowski was sitting on the river and he said to himself that he was fault absolutely he was surely not scary and felt very disappointing. He retrospectively thought all has happened. Moreover, they collaborated together and finally Wazowski used his wisdom to coach Sullivan how to deal with the hopeless situation. Just when every monster thought they were dead because nobody had the ability to rescue them, however they miraculously escaped from that room.



I think the movie tells us the following knowledge

1.  Be kind and honest, because you eventually can get friendship, maybe it is not easy and late but you really need it and can benefit from it.

2. Not everyone can make a big deal but if you are fearless enough you finally can reach a big goal.

3. Please make yourself strong not beaten by anyone, I mean you should have a brave heart and it must be hard enough to prevent you from any hurt.

4. Don’t mind if others make fun of you. it is because they are weak so they can’t tolerant your greatness. It is not your fault it is just the others. Everyone is unique and charactered by gift. Therefore, stand up just let us show them how cunning, baffling, and powerful we can be in our own defense. This skill is not from our mouth but from our behavior.
